Teeth and Gum Care Tips
Here is a list of the best ways to gum your teeth and gums healthy:
Brush your teeth at least twice a day, morning and night. If you are one of the many people who can only find time to do this once a day, then the best time is before you go to bed (making sure you don’t eat or drink anything after!)
Don’t brush your teeth straight after eating or drinking. Make sure you leave it 30-60 minutes before brushing.
Use a fluoride containing toothpaste.
If you want to use a mouthwash, make sure you use it at a different time to brushing.
Clean in between your teeth at least once a day, either with floss or interdental brushes (like Tepes)
Visit your dentist as per their recommendation, normally every 6 months.
Visit a hygienist as per your dentist’s recommendation, normally every 6 months.
Eat a variety of foods to maintain overall health.
